Most adults can only do so many aerobic classes or run so many solo miles before they start dreaming of something more enjoyable and exciting to do to stay in shape. Our program is a great way to stay in shape that doesn’t become dull or routine because as you get better and learn more, there are always more challenges ahead to keep you inspired and coming back to the school.
Our Martial Arts curriculum is customized for adult men and women. Unlike a children’s program, adult programs focus on high-intensity fitness and real self-defense that applies in today’s world. With adult martial arts, stay active and improve your overall health. Our Jiu-Jitsu and taekwondo programs are the best way to stay fit and lead a more balanced lifestyle.
Our Elite Adult Martial Arts Curriculum
Aside from our world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, we offer an adults martial arts program with roots in Tae Kwon Do, kickboxing, Boxing, and Muay Thai.
Master JAO has over 35 years of experience with these striking disciplines and has tailored the classes to be much more than a cardio kickboxing workout. The program emphasizes technical striking from all of these styles and is not limited to the structure of just one discipline. The classes focus on precise and technical striking drills, targets, partner drills, sparring, self-defense, and conditioning. Whether doing striking classes alone or as a supplement to Jiu-Jitsu training, you will enjoy the benefits of a stronger and healthier mind and body.

Empowerment Beyond the Mat
STRENGTHEN MUSCLES
As you age, muscles naturally lose density and strength, emphasizing the importance of keeping them active and strong. Engaging in adult martial arts not only keeps your muscles in constant use but also builds greater mass, contributing to a toned and healthy appearance.
HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT
Martial arts not only builds a toned body for increased confidence but also imparts self-defense skills, boosting assurance in dangerous situations. The practice sharpens reflexes and concentration, requiring quick, strategic responses to opponent attacks.
Confidence & concentration
Adults facing overwhelming stress from work, kids, and household duties can find relief by taking martial arts classes. These classes provide a healthy outlet to blow off steam, and regular participation in martial arts contributes to increased calmness and stress reduction.
RELIEVE STRESS
Participating in adult martial arts classes ensures continuous activity, promoting calorie burning and weight loss. Building muscle mass further enhances metabolism, enabling you to burn calories rapidly and effectively combat obesity.

adults love our Martial arts program
Men and women often join for the ability to take care of themselves in any potentially dangerous or uncomfortable situation, even though most of our adults seldom, if ever, get into a fighting situation. They often find themselves, however, in an uncomfortable situation, such as walking to their car late at night or escorting their spouse or friend in a less-than-secure neighborhood. It’s at times like this that martial arts training greatly enhances your self-confidence because of the ability to really take care of yourself or someone you care for when the time arises.
These fitness-based martial arts classes for adults will help you reach your goals. Running and mountain biking are great activities, but if that’s all you do for fitness, you may end up limiting your flexibility. Because these activities are basically “linear” in nature, they don’t challenge you to develop in all fitness areas. That is why most professional athletes cross-train outside of their chosen sport. There is nothing like martial arts training to develop you to your maximum potential, both physically and mentally.
